Changing acrylic nail polish requires a different removal process to avoid lifting the acrylic nail but the right techniques are fairly easy. Or you can mix colors to create nail art. The reason some polishes are made this way is to maintain their opacity.
This type of polish provides you with a nice sheen that looks just like your natural nail did but it is a little bit thicker and does not feel as hard as natural acrylics. While doing this press the file onto the surface of the polish and begin to move the file in one direction. Also if you want to remove the polish or change it but you still want to keep the acrylics use a non-acetone polish.

You can go crazy over here choosing your custom colors and making designs as you like. However its not the greatest tool when it comes to nail art. You can mix various colors of nail polish to create a custom color You can mix water based acrylic paints to create a custom color and then apply it on top of a nail polish base coat and top it with a good top coat to seal it in But you cannot mix.
